Each 75-minute workshops is designed to be hands-on with opportunities for demonstration, Q&A/discussion, and practice.

All workshops are open attendance. This means you do not need to register in order to attend. Simply come to the workshop location on the date and times listed below in order to participate. If you have any questions concerning the EAP Workshop Program, please contact the CSLC at (574) 631-5881.

English for Academic Purposes Workshop Program

Through careful consultation and survey of Notre Dame’s international student population, a series of targeted academic English topics are selected each semester. Each week, one topic is presented by a trained EAP Fellow during a 75-minute workshop session. The workshops are not lectures; rather, they are hands-on opportunities to master a specific EAP topic through demonstration, discussion and practice. Additionally, EAP Fellows are available at specified times throughout the week via the EAP Tutoring Program in order to help address individual needs. Video of all workshops is also made available through the EAP Blog where international students can post their individual questions and receive responses from EAP Fellow moderators.
