August 4 marks the day of arrival for international Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistants (FLTAs). The University of Notre Dame Fulbright FLTA Orientation Program, developed and organized by Professor Brian Ó Conchubhair, prepares FLTAs on their roles and responsibilities prior to their placements throughout the country. From August 5-8, the FLTA will participate in a series of comprehensive, orientation lectures and workshops on pedagogy and praxis at the university level and American culture presented by Notre Dame's faculty.
