Award winning Argentine writer Samanta Schweblin to visit Notre Dame

Notre Dame is pleased to welcome Argentine writer Samanta Schweblin to campus! She is listed among the Best of Young Spanish-Language Writers by GRANTA MAGAZINE and is the winner of the Casa de las Américas Prize, the Juan Rulfo Prize, and the IV Ribera del Duero Award for short fiction. 

From 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. there will be an interview in Spanish by Prof. Julio Ariza of Dartmouth College. There will be a half hour coffee break with an hourlong public reading in Spanish and English from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
