The workshop's description is as follows: "This workshop is designed to help international graduate students familiarize themselves with the cultural conventions surrounding academic emails. Students will be asked to bring to class either an email they have already written or an idea for an email they need to write. Together, we will workshop effective writing strategies for emails addressed to advisors, journal editors, colleagues, and students."
