Samuel Ramer, Associate Professor of History at Tulane University

Professor Ramer was a personal friend of Russian émigré poet Joseph Brodsky, a recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature and a U.S. Poet Laureate under President Clinton. He will discuss his memories of the poet and the challenges  involved in writing a memoir documenting their friendship.
