This workshop will examine the use of technology tools ranging from single-panel cartoons to storyboard creation apps to enhance the progressive process of language vocabulary acquisition. Practical pedagogical strategies for increasing learner engagement using storytelling apps as well as examples of scaffolded assignments for maximizing vocabulary recall will also be introduced.
