Carnival in Bolivia: Exploring the Mystic Elements

Carnival is celebrated all over South America, but one of the most unique and interesting celebrations is held in Bolivia in the city of Oruro. For eight days preceding Ash Wednesday, people celebrate with music, elaborate costumes, food and dance. 

In this presentation, FLTA Delia Salazar Alcuna will discuss the mystic and religious aspects of Carnival in Bolivia.
