This workshop covers the basics of designing with Canva. It also includes some basic design principles to help attendees understand how to use contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity to design visually appealing brochures, presentations, posters, social media images, and more. Attendees will create a poster and a social media image. A Zoom optional attendance may be available, so register early.

After completing this workshop, attendees will be able to:

  • Use a template
  • List when and how to use different sizes
  • Color principles: RGB and CMYK
  • Visualize the elements of the CRAP test
  • Share the design with others
