Paleontologists have dubbed Kenya the "cradle of humankind" due to the vast number of human fossils that date back over 6 million years. Yet, there is no single culture that defines the people of Kenya. Made up of 40 ethnic groups, there is no single food or dish that represents Kenya, but Ugali is a staple food eaten across the country.

Made from a stiff maize flour, Ugali is often served with kale and beef stew. In this cultural presentation, FLTA Caroline Kipruto will show attendees how to prepare Kenyan Ugali, and then will share this meal with those who attend.
