2024 ND Africa Conference

Location: Hesburgh Center for International Studies

Join us for the 2024 ND Africa Conference, scheduled for March 23, 2024, at the Hesburgh Center for International Studies, University of Notre Dame. This year, we delve into the pivotal role of African diaspora research and innovation in driving socio-economic progress across Africa. The conference will highlight opportunities in governance, academia, and business, where African students abroad can contribute their groundbreaking research findings and experiences to foster growth on the continent. Our aim is to explore effective pathways for African diasporan students and scholars to transform innovative ideas into practical solutions that advance Africa's development.

We are honored to have an esteemed panel of distinguished individuals who will bring their wealth of knowledge and insight to our conference. Among our panelists are Father Paulinus Odozor, Dr. Ebrahim Moosa, and Dr. Bernard Forjwuor. These experts, alongside other notable figures, will engage in a dynamic exchange of ideas aimed at harnessing the potential of African scholars abroad and navigating the channels through which their innovative research can be effectively applied to develop the continent.
