Go on a photographic adventure inspired by the images in our newly opened exhibition, Through the Lens of Father Browne, S.J.: Photographic Adventures of an Irish Priest. On day one of this two-day workshop, young photographers will explore the exhibition, learn about the process of film photography and how to compose images, and receive a disposable film camera to document their adventures over the course of a week. At the end of the week, they will drop their cameras off at the Museum for the film to be developed. On day two of the workshop (Sunday, October 6, 1:00-2:00), we will share images and “tour” each others’ photographs.
This workshop is best for children ages 8 to 11.
The workshop is free, but registration is required and limited to 12 children. Register here.
