This week marked the start of two of our programs for the academic year.
The Foreign Language and Culture Mentoring Program, now availible for Spanish, Chinese, and Russian students, began with an inaugural meeting Wednesday, September 12. The Mentoring Program pairs undergraduate foreign language students with international graduate students. Undergraduate students gain a greater understanding of target language and culture while graduate students develop leadership and interpersonal skills.

Then, on Thursday, September 16, the CSLC and the International Student Services and Activities Unit kicked off the Conversation Exchange Partner Program. The CEP Program helps to match foreign-language students with native speakers who in turn want to practice their English.
