BRIDGE Online Forum
“Building Relationships and Intercultural Dynamics through Global Education with Latin America”

Education can either mirror global divisions or help heal them. The BRIDGE Forum brings together Ukrainian Catholic University and leading Catholic universities in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru to show how Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) turns online spaces into living bridges of solidarity, dialogue, and joint learning:

Who is this Forum for?
- Faculty interested in COIL, internationalization at home, and innovative teaching
- International office teams and administrators building sustainable global partnerships
- Students engaged in global learning, intercultural projects, and joint courses
- Leaders seeking mission-driven, responsible internationalization models
Key elements of the programme include:

Panel I: Teaching — COIL Course Showcase “From course design to cultural connection: how educators turn online spaces into bridges.”
Faculty tandems from Ukraine and Latin America will present their joint COIL courses (e.g. Bridging Cultures through English; Religious Identity Across Borders; Intercultural Communication; Exploring Food Through Culture/Food, Culture, and Sustainability), sharing teaching innovations, strategies for student engagement, and lessons learned. - Students’ Voices: Learning Beyond Distance – Reflections from Ukrainian and Latin American students on intercultural collaboration, myths challenged, new perspectives gained, and the challenges of working across borders and time zones.
- Panel II: Institutional Bridges – Administrative representatives will discuss internal facilitation, leadership support, strategic communication, faculty workshops, and models for sustaining and scaling COIL cooperation across institutions, as well as next steps for Spring 2026.
