Fall is a great time to upgrade  your current technical skills and gain new ones. To meet the training needs of campus, OIT training classes are shifting their focus to provide the skills you need, when you need them.

Technical Training Classes

Instructor-led classes will be offered in Google Drive, Qualtrics, and Spreadsheets (Excel and Google Sheets). Besides concentrating on the how-tos, many of the classes will also cover how the tools are used at Notre Dame.

Other classes are being shifted to Udemy, the online learning tool now available through Endeavor or nd.udemy.com. You can build your skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative Cloud apps in Udemy.

Not sure which of their classes to pick? Check out the list of recommended classes in the current Discover IT flier and  this knowledge article. For help in navigating Udemy, check out the Using Udemy Time-Out for Tech session on Sept. 29.

Time-Out for Tech Sessions

The popular series of short tech sessions is back this fall with some new twists. Topics include Using Udemy, New Features in Google, Windows 11 and more. The week of fall break will be Clean Up week with three bonus sessions being offered on how to clean up your Gmail, Google photos and computer. The whole list of Time-Out for Tech sessions for Fall 2022 including descriptions and registration information can be found in this knowledge article.

The technical training schedule and Udemy recommendations are available at oit.nd.edu/training. To register for instructor-led training classes, go to endeavor.nd.edu.
