EAP Teaching Assistant
Madelyn Steurer is a second year Masters candidate in the Department of French and Francophone Studies with a minor in Screen Cultures through the Department of Film, Television and Theatre. After having both studied French and Italian, Madelyn graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2020 with a degree in Romance Languages as well as a degree in Marketing from the Mendoza College of Business. Throughout her time at Notre Dame, she studied abroad in Siena, Italy with the help of the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts. She completed her Honors Thesis on the political and religious significance of Marian imagery in Siena. As an undergraduate, she worked as both the French and Italian gallery teacher on campus at the Snite Museum of Art. During the 2020-2021 school year, Madelyn taught Beginning French 10101 and 10102 at Notre Dame. She looks forward to teaching Spoken English Skills as well as offering tutoring with the CSLC through the English for Academic Purposes Program this year.
