New! 1-Credit Service Course

The South Bend Symphony Orchestra is partnering with the CSLC to translate their website and promotional materials into multiple languages to be inclusive of our multilingual community here in South Bend .  Whether you love and practice music or you are just intrigued by this service project, we have created the perfect 1-credit course for you.

Students can register for this course to  obtain hands-on, practical translation experience in their target language and repeat the course  until the Orchestra's outreach target is met.

Native speakers are welcome to enroll.  Language learners are recommended to have completed at least the 4th semester (or equivalent) of their translation language.

You will not attend a class in person but work on your assignments with a flexible schedule and adjustable deadlines.   A faculty mentor and a CSLC tutor will be available to assist.
