Film screening: "Boycott" (2001) and "Selma" (2014)

Join the Center for the Study of Languages and Cultures in celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. We will be screening the 2001 film Boycott, which depicts Dr. King Jr.'s pivotal role in the organization of the Montgomery bus boycott of 1955. This screening will be held on Monday at 329 DeBartolo from 11:30 a.m. The event is free and food will be provided.

Also on Wednesday at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center at 8:00 p.m., the CSLC, in conjunction with the Office of the President, will be screening Selma (2014), which tells the story of Dr. King's march across Alabama to the landmark Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Both screenings are proudly part of Notre Dame's Walk the Walk Week in honor of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
