Graduate

The CSLC offers a wide variety of courses and programs for graduate students, including:

Less Commonly Taught Language Courses such as Hindi and Swahili. They are taught by native speakers who bring unique linguistic knowledge and cultural perspectives into the courses.

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Program. It offers English-language courses, workshops, consultations and language tables for international students, faculty, staff, post-docs, and spouses.

A graduate course and training on online teaching. The training/course introduces pedagogical approaches, design principles, and technological tools that facilitate online learning. It also includes online hands-on learning activities and active weekly discussions.

Summer Language Abroad grants provide students with funding for intensive summer language study abroad up to $5,500.

Resources for Spouses. International spouses are welcome to participate in the Language Tables program, hosted by the Center for the Study of Languages and Cultures (CSLC). International spouses are also invited to participate in EAP Workshops, if there are seats available after students have signed up. Contact CSLC with questions.
