The pronunciation of American English has its own unique patterns of stress, intonation, and rhythm. This workshop focuses on the use of stress to create rhythm in everyday American English speech, as well as how the rhythm of word stress is used in chants, poems, and rap music. Participants will have a chance to find and practice rhythm in their own speech.
