Research suggests learning to embroider or other needle work can help us cultivate mindfulness, reduce feelings of stress, relieve feelings of restlessness or tension, calm emotions, and increase happiness and self-awareness.

Try your "hand" at Ecuadorian Punch Needle Embroidery! Ecuadorian embroidery go back to ancient times, and the trademark features of embroidery in South America will be explored in this hands-on craft during Foreign Language Week!
