Location:Andrews Auditorium (in the basement) of Geddes Hall
This coming Wednesday, May 3rd, Dr. Kim Potowski (U. of Illinois-Chicago) will be delivering a talk entitled: "Apples and Oranges: Best Approaches in Working with Spanish Heritage Speakers."
Dr. Potowski is a Professor of Spanish linguistics at UIC, with appointments in Latin American and Latino Studies and in Curriculum and Instruction. Her presentation will begin at 4:30 in the Andrews Auditorium (in the basement) of Geddes Hall.
As we continue to see the number of heritage speakers of Spanish and other languages grow in the U.S., at ND, and in our classes, the topic of Dr. Potowski's talk is timely.
