Solarte accepts position at Saint Mary's College

Ruth Solarte, who defended her doctoral dissertation entitled "The Scene of the Crime: Violence Against Women, Thanatological Landscapes, and the New Critique of Misogyny" on March 31, 2022 has accepted the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana. This position has the potential to become a tenure-track position.

Professor MarĂ­a Rosa Olivera-Williams, Ruth's dissertation director, and her committee members, Professors Marisel Moreno, Joshua Lund, and Francisco Robles, are very happy for Ruth and know that she will do an outstanding job at Saint Mary's. In addition, we are happy to have her near us, which will allow us to continue to work with a wonderful colleague.
